Lisbon International Fair– FIL (400m)
FIL is a facility dedicated to large scale events, trade fairs and exhibitions. FIL comprises 4 Pavilions, each with over 10,000m2.
Pavilhão Atlântico (750m)
This is the largest events pavilion in Portugal, with a capacity of 20,000 people. The pavilion hosts over 100 performances a year, including concerts, private events and exhibitions.
Vasco da Gama Shopping Centre (1.5Km)
Named after Vasco da Gama, who discovered the sea route to India, its interior is inspired by the sea with fish and marine animals on the ceiling, in the lifts, bathrooms and shops, and with continuous water flowing over the skylight. The shopping centre comprises 206 shops and restaurants, a 10-screen cinema, health club, supermarket, children's playground and a car park with more than 2,700 spaces.
Lisbon Oceanarium (1.5Km)
Opened during Expo 98, the Lisbon Oceanarium is one of the largest aquariums in Europe and the most popular cultural attraction in Portugal, with about 1 million visitors per year. The area offers many activities, including guided tours, workshops, lectures, concerts for babies, birthday parties, and even the chance to spend the night with sharks.

Lisbon Casino (1.4Km)
The Lisbon Casino opened in 2006 and is a modern and cosmopolitan facility. The 1,000 slot machines, 22 gaming tables, various bars and three restaurants are spread over the Casino's three floors. To complement these offerings, the Auditório dos Oceanos features a wide array of performances ranging from theatre to dance, opera to rock.
Pavilhão do Conhecimento/Pavilion of Knowledge (1.7Km)
Opened during Expo 98, this is an interactive space dedicated to science and technology where various exhibitions are presented in a spirit of play, in order to demystify science and make it accessible to all. Most of the exhibitions include visitor interaction features, to encourage active and relaxed exploration.
Leisure areas (140m)
Parque das Nações follows the banks of the River Tagus along 5km, combining architecture, art and nature. One third of the areas contain different types of green space. There are several restaurants and bars here, offering different choices of national and international cuisine. For sports lovers the area offers cycle and jogging circuits.
